I purchased a set of these for my 2010 CR-V over a year ago. I thought I ordered the kind that snaps into the window channel so when it arrived and I found out that they're held on w/double sided tape. I wasn't happy but it was my mistake.
Anyway, I followed the directions and installed them (took only 10 minutes for all 4) and here I am over a year later and they're still attached! I didn't think they'd hold up, especially going through car washes but they're hanging in there!

These were a replacement for same ones that were 14 years old and started to crack now . Harder to get old tape off than to install new Ventshades .

Didn't realize it was held on with double-sided tape when I purchased it but followed the instructions and the tape holds it on there rock solid. I've only had them on for about a month and in that time it hasn't rained much and I haven't gone through a car wash - which will be the biggest test.

My wife asked me to get the vent shades and put them on here CR-V , the fit is perfect , they turn back rain , vent the vehicle and even cast some shade . She is happy so I am happy ....... yes I would recommend these and I am very pleased with both the price and service !
