Hello!
The blend door (this part) is actually used to adjust the air temperature. It’s the mode door that’s used to adjust the air discharge location.
However, depending on the symptoms your vehicle is exhibiting, there could be other causes for your concern, as well. You’ll either need to do some troubleshooting or seek professional assistance to know for sure. Good luck!
