Question: Hi there, does this compressor comes with the refrigerant filled in ? if yes, could you please tell us what type of oil is it. thank you?Venu / May 27, 2025
Hi Venu, thank you for reaching out. Yes, the compressor does come pre-filled with OE-specified compressor oil. However, the compressor itself is not pre-charged with refrigerant gas. The refrigerant is added when the A/C system is serviced or recharged. The compressor is pre-filled with synthetic PAG oil designed for R134a refrigerant systems. If you are installing this compressor, you will still need to evacuate and recharge the A/C system with the correct refrigerant (R134a) and may need to add additional oil depending on system requirements and the service manual instructions.
