Question: Can this worn out part be the cause of like a flapping noise on the passenger side while in reverse when AC is on? Looked under my hood and that’s where the noise was coming from in the AC area. 2012 Toyota Camry LE 2.5LNina F. / Jul 04, 2022

Answered by Aldrin P. / Mon, Jul 04If the tensioner is bad, it could sound like a rattling frim the passenger side. When mine went bad, it did it in reverse sometimes, but I also noticed it only when the ac was on.
