Part was easy to order and a perfect fit. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it took 10 business days to be delivered. When I checked out it said 3-7 business days. I called and was told they had a larger number of orders to fill and it would be delayed.

Best price around. Fast shipping and warranty coverage is also a plus. The part was a perfect match. My Jeep had all the steering wheel controls back plus I have a Horn again. Very happy with my purchase.

Answered by Leon carpenter C. / Sat, Feb 22Question: I have a 2012 dodge avenger, my car horn is not working through the steering wheel along with all of the steering wheel buttons, i think it its the clock spring, would this part fit my vehicle?Sergio R. / Mar 22, 2021
Hi Sergio,
As per checking, yes, this is a guaranteed fit for your 2012 Dodge Avenger R/T 6 Cyl 3.6L. The clock spring affects the airbag and horn functionality as well. This might have worn out already.

There is no way for me to know without the part number. I can say that the clockspring I bought was a perfect fit aand fixed all the steering wheel buttons, and horn. Just make sure that you disconnect the battery and wait 15 t0 20 minutes after you disconnect the battery. Then it should be safe to remove the airbag.

Question: Will my horn start back to working? With this part,?Curtis W. / Feb 02, 2022
Hi Curtis, thank you for reaching out. We are unable to answer your question since we do not know what's wrong with your horn. Kindly have a mechanic diagnose it. Have a good one.

I lost my horn and all button functions on my steering wheel except the cruise control. After replacing the clockspring all horn and button functions went back to normal. The loss of the horn and button controls is due to dirt and dust getting in contacts and causes bad connection, if you have windows open all the time or roof/doors off your Jeep a lot this issue commonly happens.

Answered by David G. / Wed, Feb 02Its possible. There is a connection for the horn in the clockspring, but also a wire bundle that connects to the clockspring holding horn wiring. If you were getting a SRS/airbag light, when your horn stopped, I'd say yes, this was the culprit...
