I use k&n filters in all of my vehicles. cant tell any difference in performance. but my average mpg went up about 1 mpg. I am now averaging approx. 18.5 mpg from my 5.0 crew cab ford f-150. the stock filter costs about 20 bucks so I figure that the 50 bucks will pay for itself in about 2 years and I will get about 25 miles more from a tank of gas so @ 3 BUCKS A GALLON I AM Saving almost 4 bucks per tank of gas so it will also pay for itself after about 12 tanks of gas. so both ways I am saving some money in the long run and any small performance benefit is an added plus.
