Question: My 1999beetle will not stay charged, the charging system says that the alternator is charging. But still discharges over night and nothing is on when it does it. Will a new alternator fix this problem?David M. / Feb 19, 2024
Hi David, thank you for reaching out. I would recommend taking your vehicle to a professional repair shop. There are several reasons why the battery doesn't stay charged, and I wouldn't be comfortable making a recommendation without physically inspecting the vehicle or the alternator. Have a nice day.
