It works. Previous owner had left the old part to hang from wire harness. This part snaps right in, but you do have to remove the front bumper for access.

Hi Richard,
This shows to be a guaranteed fit for your 2003 Honda Accord EX 4 or 6 Cylinder engine. This brand carries a 3 year warranty on their product as well. The more affordable one probably was just defective.
