Will a shift solenoid not let it go back into first gear when you're stopped at a light?Jack C.May 28, 2020
Best Answer:Hello! It's possible that you have a failing solenoid, but automatic transmissions can be very tricky to diagnose. If there is debris causing the solenoid to stick, the source of debris needs to be addressed as well, or replacing the solenoid will only be a temporary fix.
