A bit disappointedBeck Arnley Oe Replacement Axle Nut - Direct Fit

First off, JCW is great. In the past months I've bought a bunch of stuff. The offerings, price and quality have been great. So, surprising that I should be dismayed with a lowly axle nut. It's the simplest kind of thing that, as long as it would fit the axle of my 2004 Mazda RX-8, one would not expect to encounter "issues." Yes, it's sized correctly to fit the threads of my axle. However, the body of the nut is slightly larger than the OEM. Turns out it's too big for the 35mm axle nut socket I bought specifically to get these nuts off the car (and presumably on). I'm not going to go buy another socket just to accommodate the new nut. The OEM nut also has a larger diameter overall due to a larger flange, which I think is preferable, but that's obviously a minor issue. Bottom line: These axle nuts might be fine for your application but I want to use the socket I bought for this purpose so I'm going back to OEM for my repair.
