Quick delivery, part seems to be good quality.
I don’t have 4 wheel ABS in my 98 Dodge Ram 1500, but this part still works! The ABS ring just goes unused, but the axle fits in there just fine.

Hello! I don't have any experience with your question, however, we will only guarantee fitment for exact replacement parts for your specific vehicle. My recommendation would be to order non abs axles for your vehicle. Hopefully someone with experience will chime in.

yes, This comes with a speed ring on it and it fits right behind the hub bearing..
Worst case you can knock it off, BUT you don't need to.. it fits both.. With and without ABS systems..

Answered by Grace G. / Fri, Nov 06If your referring to the passenger side. It's a 2 piece shaft. There's a short shaft in the housing that connects to the actuator and the outside shaft connects to the hub. So comes out of the differential (short shaft) goes to the actuator and the outside shaft slides into the actuator and wheel hub.

This axle shaft can be interchanged between 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 and 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 if both uses Dana 44 Axle and has 15 spline count axle shaft.
