The camera worked perfect. 2011 GMC Acadia slt2. Our old one only worked when it was cold out, Installing this one was not hard at all, the whole job took me less than an hour with removing stuff needed to get to the camera. Camera itself was like 2 screws and a connector.

I did not have to get it programmed to initially work. But I believe you do if you want all the camera functions like zoom and the colored parking markers

Probably if you wanted the zoom and lines. I find it’s fine without them. If you don’t need that it’s plug n play.
