Yes it will, though I did find out that when the resistor burnt out in my daughter's 13' Dart SXT, it also took the blower motor out! If you can use a power tool battery to jumper the blower motor and make sure it runs, it will save you time and backache from laying across the door jamb! If the blower runs like that, than you need the resistor. And you can change out both without taking the dash or console apart, all from the passenger side! There are several YouTube videos on how to do it! Best of luck! Mopar or no car! 😁

Answered by Dena B. / Tue, Oct 11Question: Will this fix the problem with having to put heater up to 78 to start being warm?Kenny S. / Jan 10, 2023
Hi Kenny,
The process of replacing the top cylinders on a 600SL Mercedes can vary depending on the specific model and year. However, in general, you would need to follow these steps:
Remove the old top cylinders: Start by removing the hydraulic lines from the old top cylinders. You may need to use a wrench or pliers to loosen the fittings.
Install the new top cylinders: Once the old cylinders have been removed, you can install the new ones in their place. Be sure to connect the hydraulic lines to the correct fittings on the new cylinders.
Bleed the hydraulic system: After installing the new top cylinders, you will need to bleed the hydraulic system to remove any air bubbles that may have been introduced during the installation process.
Test the top operation: Finally, test the operation of the top to make sure it is working properly. If it is not, you may need to repeat the bleeding process or make adjustments to the hydraulic system.
It's important to have a good understanding of hydraulic systems and experience with automotive repairs before attempting to replace the top cylinders on a Mercedes 600SL. It may be best to seek the assistance of a professional if you are not comfortable with the process.
