The wrong resistor was sent. Come to find out my problem was the blower motor which was correct. I got my refund back with no problem. Good Job in customer service.

Typically, this is located under the dashboard on the opposite side of the steering wheel.

Answered by Arnel E. / Thu, Dec 03I replaced the one on my 03' Kia, Sorento...its behind the glove box door..right on top of air duct. But!..this did not fix my fan issue. Actually, I had to replace my enviromental control unit...as my fan switch was bad!..

Just as Arnel replied, the blower motor resister is usually located on the passenger side underneath the dashboard. If you can physically visualize the actual blower , the resistor is usually next to it .

Answered by Aslene L. / Thu, Dec 03It is under dash on passenger side. I watched youtube video and it helped this 60 y/o female change it out. Search youtube. I cannot find the link, sorry, but I know step by step is there.
