Question: where does this switch go in my car?wanda A. / Jun 08, 2021
Hi Wanda, I'm glad to assist you. The brake light switch is located right near the tip of your right foot near the brake pedal, so it's easy to access. The switch may actually snap into place without the use of any tools at all. Or bolted on depending on the design and vehicle make. Please click the link below to order this part today and take advantage of our promo sale price. I hope this helps. If your car is a Chrysler Crossfire, which is what I bought this switch for, you will have to remove the panel above your brake pedal. You will have to remove a few Phillips screws and disconnect a diagnostic plug wiring harness (very simple). You will see the switch above the brake pedal. Simply turn the switch left 90 degrees and pull out. disconnect the wiring connector. To install the new one, reverse this process. There used to be a good YouTube video that made it easy but I couldn't find it. It's not difficult if you're comfortable working on simple car projects.
