This is my 2nd set of red stuff pads for my ford fusion. The first lasted 50K miles, mostly highway. My 1st set sqealed for 3k miles until they broke in. The 2nd is quiet off the bat. They are a little bit slippery for the first couple cold stops but its not dangerous at all.
PERFORMANCE: they live up to the hype, hands down. I drive like a banshee with a tracked out suspension, and I cannot over heat these pads on the street. The hotter they get, the better they stop. My factory pads had major fading issues, red stuff negated that completely, and then some. They bite better than other performance ceramic brands I've tried on this same car, too. A little less dusty too.
Do yourself a favor and get them. Well worth the extra money if you dive fast and want to be safe.

I had the Green Stuff and initial bite was poor, but had low dusting and some fade in track session. I bought the Red Stuff because of it higher rating for track use. The Red Stuff bites well from cold and has a lot less fade than the green stuff. It dusts a little more but the performance difference is worth it. I'm overall pleased with the performance. Next time I may try the Yellow stuff ;)
