Hi Nick, I'm glad to help you out. This part bolts/screws into the metal frame and under the headlight. The bumper cover snaps into this bumper cover. Yes. This component attaches to the headlight assembly and metal car frame. If you are just swapping out headlight assembly then you should be able to use old ones unless they are damaged.

This is the plastic piece that screws to the headlight and metal frame. It goes under the head light and the bumper clicks onto 3 or 4 plastic tabs.
