The top portions are smooth texture….. that needs to be painted white. It will be dull gray primer in that area. The bottom portion is textured and is the same dull gray color. The bottom doesn’t have to be painted which will provide the two tone appearance. White (or whatever color the rest of the car is) on the top smooth part, and gray on the bottom. I’ve put 4 of these on…… no issues with not painting the bottom, but then again, I’m only able to enjoy them for 2-3 years before hitting wildlife and needing a new one. 😁

Hi Thomas, As per checking, this item does not come with installation hardware(locking clips, bolts, nuts..etc.). We suggest getting those locally through a local auto supply store or the dealership. Some have built in design of the locking clips or bracket but may vary from vehicle make to another.
