Installed on 2013 BMW 328i XDrive (F30). Quality part so far, but there were notches missing from the sides of the part. This made it not fit on the car until I cut the notches out myself. Comparing to the stock part, there were supposed to be notches to allow for the factory lower bumper support. Other than that, the part works as expected.

Question: My 2015 BMW 328xi needs this part replaced due to an accident with a raccoon.  Can this part be installed without removing the front bumper cover assembly?  May need to replace lower engine shield also.James L. / Apr 12, 2022
No. It's not possible. This piece need to install from back of the bumper. You don't have any access with bumper still on the car. There is a lot of tutorials online for how to remove F30 bumpers, it's not that difficult.

I had to remove the front bumper assembly to install this part on my 2014 328i the clips that hold it in please are impossible to remove with the bumper attached to the car. Once removed, the installation was a breeze.

Question: I am confused as to where in the m style bumper this goes to. Can someone paint a picture? This isnt the kidney grille. And it isnt the left, right and middle lower grille since those are three separate pieces.328ix / Aug 16, 2023
