The. Part I ordered was exactly what I needed. It arrived within the time predicted. Some of the holes for the mounting clips did not line up. However this was easily remedied with a drill

Question: Does this have the bolt holes to bolt a trailer hitch into all vehicles including a 2005 Chevy equinox? Your answer to the last question was unclear about my vehicle it only talked about the 08 torrent and such.Devin / Apr 09, 2022

Answered by Grace G. / Sat, Apr 09As I recall, there were two holes on the bottom of the bumper reinforcement that the hitch attached to. In fact, the main reason I purchased this item was so I would feel safer about installing a trailer hitch on my 2009 Equinox. However, a word of caution to be careful not to over tighten these bolts. I pulled the insert out of one of the holes. The only saving grace is that the trailer hitch I have on my other (second) 2009 Equinox did not have holes to attach to the bumper and only the frame. I have had no problem with towing loads of mulch with this (second) vehicle.

This part is guaranteed to fit the 2008 Pontiac Torrent Base, GT, and GXP 6 Cyl 3.4L. The trailer hitch is attached to the chassis of the vehicle for towing and not on this part.
