I took it to a body shop that painted it for me. Family friend so it was inexpensive. Then the painter put it on. Took him 3 to 5 mins. It's a pop in type piece. Pop the old piece out put the new one in. Haven't had any issues with it. No tools just a bit of muscle.

Hi Mike, You need to have it painted. We don't do painting on our body parts and only ship them primed. We suggest having it painted locally so they can correctly match the shade of your paint.

Our car was silver and the prime matched the other side so we did not paint it. I would think you could sand it and paint it to match your car
