Great quality partsCamshaft Position Sensor, 4 Cyl., 1.6L Engine
5.0/5
I ordered this camshaft sensor for a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. There are two of them on top of the engine and took all of 5-10 mins to change them out. The shipping took a week to get them, and we received an email informing us that the packaging we would receive would say JC Whitney, not Car Parts, but would include the same high quality part. Overall, we are very happy with the purchase and will buy many parts again from Carparts.com

At this point and time, my customer has been pleased with the camshaft position sensors for her 2011 Honda Accord 2.4 and I wish I could say the same about the crankshaft position sensor.

Hi James, I'm glad to assist you. The camshaft position sensor is always located near the camshaft, often at the top of the valve cover, but it can also be installed from the side of the cylinder head. This goes where the spark plugs are. Usually on the front andd back of the engine depending on your model. Usually split into equal banks. If your car only has four plugs then it may be four in the front or two in the front and two in the back same thing with six or eight.
