Question: Where is this located?Dana H. / Mar 11, 2022
Hi Dana, I'm pleased to assist you. It actually depends on the vehicle application. It is usually located on the engine near the timing belt cover and under the upper radiator hose. You can check YouTube and Google for the specific location. Just type" Where is the camshaft position sensor located and add the year, make, and model of the vehicle". Top left hand side of engine as you look at it. Camshaft is what lifts and drops the valves so this will be at the end of the head where the cam lives. Look just below where valve cover connects to head.

Question: 2007 gmc danali. I’ve been given a quote of 600-650$$ to replace set of sensors. Why so expensive?Carla M. / Mar 30, 2023
Hi Carla, I'm pleased to assist you. I am unable to answer your question about why they charge that amount. These do not fit the 2007 GMC Yukon Denali 8 Cyl 6.2L. We have available the direct-fit camshaft position sensor compatible with the vehicle. Click the link below to choose among the options we have available. Place your order at a reduced cost while supplies last. I hope this is helpful. Enjoy your CP shopping experience!
