Question: 07 PILOT. Perhaps a silly question but does the sensor tell you something (else) is wrong/requires replacement, or, does the sensor itself go bad?? I’m getting P0344 code saying my position sensor is bad, but can that alone be causing my major timing and throttle issues? Or is it a clue that something else, eg, the timing belt needs replaced?Lori H. / Feb 13, 2024
Hi Lori, thank you for reaching out! That code only points to the camshaft position sensor. I'm not sure what major issues you have but below are some symptoms associated with the P0344 code:
-Check engine light illuminates
-Engine is hard starting or cranking without starting
-Engine hesitates or stalls
-Engine dies and will not restart
-Engine misfires and runs rough
You can click the link below to order the part before the sale ends. Have a good one!

Question: how many cam sensors are needed?Dennis A. / Mar 12, 2021
Hi Dennis,
There are vehicles that have 1 and some vehicles have 2. In as much as I would want to help you, I do not have the complete vehicle information to work on. You can do a manual check for the availability and fitment - On the Homepage, please enter (complete) your vehicle’s year, make, model, sub-model, and engine size. Type the part's name in the search box. Once your application is selected, you’ll see a “Guaranteed to Fit” badge if the part will fit, and we recommend that you also double-check Your Vehicle Fit Details as well as the Vehicle Fitment Information table on the product page.
