Needed to have one of the catalytic converters replaced on my daughter’s Impala. The shop quoted her a little over $1,000 for the part alone! To be able to purchase it ourselves for almost $500 cheaper was a blessing within itself!!

Hi Daniel,
There are 2 catalytic converters on the vehicle. This partis semi-universal and requires welding. This fits the 1998 Ford Taurus SE and SE Comfort 6 Cyl 3.0L (NOTE: This part is NOT for the LX and SHO Submodels) that has Federal type emissions. Please check the Vehicle Emission Control Information sticker usually found underneath the hood of the car to make sure the catalytic converter matches the car's Emission label specifications.
