Ordered for my 2001 4Runner with california emissions (2 cats). The flange has a pipe in the middle that exceeds and inserts into an opening on the headers. I believe that this piping sticks out too long, and caused a pretty gnarly gap between the flanges (OEM cats has a flush seal). The predrilled holes on the new Cat flange did not fit the header studs and caused some issues. Had to extend/widen all holes for it to even allow the studs to insert. 1 Week later and it is still holding up well. Pretty happy with the outcome, and some modifications are expected as it is a 25+ year old car.

Hi James, This is made for vehicles for use within the 47 states besides CA, NY and Maine. Your Vehicle control information sticker should say it conforms with "US EPA(Federal)... and California emissions as well". But if your location is CA, NY or Maine. This will not be compatible. We do not carry the front catalytic converter for CA, NY and Maine use(50 state legal type).

My check engine light was on running code p0420 so I got this, installed it (which is a decent amount of work and kinda requires you to lift the engine), started the car and the light was still on. Then about a week later I replaced the down stream and both 02sensors and it's gone out. If you're code is the same as mine (p0420) you probably need the downstream.
