Car Parts Affordable Solutions/Catalytic ConverterCatalytic Converter, Federal Epa Standard, 46-State Legal (Cannot Ship To Ca, Co, Ny Or Me), With Automatic Transmission, 3.0L Engine
5.0/5
I'm definitely giving this product 5 stars. I've been dealing with this engine light regarding the catalytic converter for about 2 years. Every mechanic or auto shop were giving me estimates in the thousands. I took it upon myself to do the research on how it's done & it sure paid off. I purchased this product from Car Parts, the shipping was quick & the product was compatible just as they said. I immediately made time to install the replacement & can guarantee that it's been great ever since. I'm grateful for car parts as well as the manufacturer for making this item affordable as well compatible. I can say that this situation has been an interesting experience that has me convinced that I can get any mechanical issues resolved without the extra expenses that mechanics tend to overwhelm us with. As long as Car Parts continues to provide affordable pricing for products that suit my mechanical situations I will continue doing my own without the excessive financial strain. Thank You Car Parts!

Question: Does the part comes with both Cactylic converters and both of the pipes with the screws and everything else that’s new?Erik G. / Feb 24, 2022
Hi Erik, I'm glad to assist you. Yes. This comes with two catalytic converters in a y-pipe assembly design as shown in the image. However, this item does not come with installation hardware. We suggest getting those locally through a local auto supply store or the dealership. Yes, both cats are welded in. Can’t remember if the bolts come with it but I believe they did. However the old bolts came out very easily from my old jeep (205,000 miles). But pretty sure it came with new ones. If not, the bolts are push through and secured with a nut. They aren’t threaded into the flange. So, worst case, you can pick up new bolts at any auto parts store. Just take the old ones and match them up.

Question: What is the country of origin?Patrick S. / Dec 22, 2023
Hi Patrick, I'm pleased to assist you. According to the search results, the Evan Fischer brand catalytic converters are imported from the United States. However, the manufacturing country of origin may vary depending on the specific product. One Reddit user mentioned that an Evan Fischer catalytic converter they purchased was made in the Philippines. Another product listing stated that the item would be imported from the US. Therefore, it is unclear where the Evan Fischer catalytic converters are manufactured, but they are imported from the US. Question: I need to know what the silver round pieces are for and if I am supposed to absolutely use them bc the mechanic that installed the exhaust said i didn't bc my exaust already had a beveled head but since I had it installed I've had nothing but trouble with loud rumbling coming from exhaust was just wondering if those pieces were like a damper and the guy doesn't know what he was talking about so my question is are those pieces a vital role in exaust working properly or as needed ?A Shopper / May 24, 2020
Hello! If the rest of your exhaust is original, than the gaskets are definitely needed to prevent exhaust leaks and rumbling noises.
