Question: my 2008 envoy has the slide (up and down) temp controls. it has the 24pin harness with the 8 pin blower control harness. will this digital one work in place of the one? do i only need to hook up the one harness (24 pin)?Buddy S. / May 18, 2021
Hi Buddy, I'm glad to help you out. This part is guaranteed to fit the 2008 GMC Envoy, all submodels, all engine with automatic a/c. You can convert the manual a/c unit to automatic, by replacing it with an automatic a/c unit (like this). It is a simple plug-and-play setup. You might require a bit of additional wiring (to power the unit) and additional adaptor plugs to connect the manual wiring to the unit. I suggest reaching out to a certified auto electrician.
