overall a great product from K&N had a few issues with the breather hose leading to the vavle cover, ended up blocking off the hole and buying a breather for the vavle cover. (looks bettter that way anyways) Noticed an increase in power i and with an adv. 24MPG. i am happy

Bought one for my 2000 S10 Xtreme 2.2L and it sure helped on my poor acceleration. I like the sound of it and the under hood look isn't too bad either, much better than stock. Ordered mine from a local parts store and it came in the very next day, welcome surprise to me. The installation was simple enough if you know a thing or two under the hood already. If you have an older vehicle like me, then some of the stock parts just don't want to come off without a fight. But that is to be expected. Overall I am pleased with the performance, the quality, and never having to replace my air filter again!
