I installed the Volant Cold Air Intake on my 5.4L 2006 F-150 today. The drawing in the box is good for parts identification only. Directions are a must when installing this kit. Luckily, I found a decent set of instructions/ illustrations on line to help me along the way. Would be nice if .pdf instructions were available on the website or place in the box. Installation was fairly easily. I didn’t not keep track of how long it took because I changed my serpentine belt at the same time. I found that I had to use a couple of hose clamps to connect the breather hose but I think this is because Ford uses a quick disconnect type clamp. I do not have any MPG figures yet but I do know that if you get down on it at from about 3000 rpm it really opens up and sounds wicked. Nice performance addition under the hood and looks great.

I have purchased other intakes before, and they don't even compare!!! I am so pleased with this product I want to let everyone know. Everything about this product is great!!! The sound, performance, and fit are all top quality. I combined this and the new Flashpac from superchips, and now can spin tires like crazy, it even barks second!!!! I would recomend this to anyone who likes power, and great sound. I wish there were 10 stars, because 5 just aren't enough!!!!!
