Do you have replacement female connector (if the sensor itself is male) that I can buy together with a new sensor?Marty / Nov 23, 2023
Hi Martin, I'm glad to assist you. Upon checking, we do not carry a sensor wiring cable connector (female) for this coolant temperature sensor (male) for the 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 8-cylinder engine.

Yes, as per careful checking, this fits and is compatible with the 1991 to 1993 Dodge B150/D150, 5.2L 8 cylinder gas engine.

Answered by Jeonino E. / Tue, Feb 09Question: 2001 dodge 2500 5.9 engine.The coolant temp sensor fits into threadwell but,the electrical male connector on truck will not completly voverreceptacle.IT WON'T LOCK OR GO DOWN PASS THE ARROW emblem on the plastic receptor on sensor .This is a double prong plug in & so is the male receptor on my truck.

Is your truck 6 or 8 Cyl, both are 5.9. This part is only for the 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Base 8 Cyl 5.9L and will not fit the 6 Cyl 5.9L. You can return the part to us, please contact our Customer Service Department at telephone number 1-866-529-0412. They can help you.
