I purchased this hood for a 2008 Mustang, the fit up was nice and we used the original fenders and all went smooth. The hood is of course heavier than the factory aluminum hood but we have not had any issues or concerns with this since installed and painted. I would buy this hood again if needed.

My hood came with a puncture in it , it was totally unfit to put on my car because of the damage from the shipping but the pictures looked really good online I just wish I could’ve had my hood

Mine is a 2006 fastback mustang with a six cylinder. Worked great. only issues were that the holes on the bottom side that holds the rubber sealer on had to be drilled out a little to use the original clamps and the plastic grill on the faux air intake did not fit perfect.

I bought this hood for my sons 2008 Mustang and the fit up on it was excellent. We had not issues with the hood fitting up with the original fenders. I personally think this is a quality hood and I would buy again if I need one.

I could not find any reference if you can use this since the Mustang doesn't originally have a cowl hood. It would be best to call the manufacturer KeyParts at the telephone number (800) 992-1064. They can better help you.

No you won’t because if it’s for the 06 and it says it fits then there should be no problem cause I got one for my 09 just I didn’t open it cause I don’t have mods in it yet but when I do I will come in handy to cool it down

No, if the hood is described to fit your car you will not have to do anything special. My 2009 Mustang dud not have a cowl hood & it fit perfect & looks great!
