The exhaust manifold gaskets were slotted instead of full round bolt holes making it quite difficult to hold in place while tightening bolts as one end gasket had to load from underneath because it was slotted at the top of the gasket. My application was on a marine inboard with very heavy water cooled manifolds. Luckily the engine was out of the boat and it was still a two man operation. if the repair was on board, it would have been a nightmare.
