Hi Jeff, I'm pleased to assist you. When a gasket is installed, it is impossible to measure its compressed thickness. You must examine the specifications for your application and find a gasket that meets those specifications. A depth micrometer may be required to measure the OEM gasket or piston clearance of a modified engine or resurfaced block.
