The Dash Cover, Black, Defroster Grille was just what I needed to bring my dashboard back to it's original state. I received it without any damage. It was package pretty good. This may be my miss understanding, but I thought it said it would come with silicon. It is a perfect fit and looks great, very easy installation. You can not go wrong with this product. There was some delay in shipping. Thanks (Carports)

Answered by Aldrin P. / Sat, Jan 16First, make sure you install on a very warm day. The cover will be easier to work with when its soft and pliable. You will need some type of weight to hold in place. I also put some small black screws on the sides to hold the edges down. This is never seen when the doors are closed. Put on with adhesive around the edges and let sit overnight if possible. Good luck.

Answered by Dallas S. / Sat, Jan 16I had a Bodyshop friend install mine and he uses Epoxy glue but he also said if I ever wanted to take it off, I would have to replace the old dash also since this will not release from the old dash

Answered by Robert R. / Sat, Jan 16It’s very easy to install...simply place it over your old dash and add a couple adhesive Velcro pieces to hold it in place and you’re done.

Answered by Grace G. / Wed, Jul 13I didn't use silicone because it takes too long to dry. Use 3m trim adhesive. The directions will read apply and let it get tacky. Make sure you trimmed the dash panel to fit because once you put it in with this stuff it's in. Adheres almost immediately.
