Hi Shane, This part is guaranteed to fit the 2007 GMC Yukon Denali, SLE, and SLT All Engines. With the present condition of the dash, it would be best to secure all the loose sections before installing this part. A heat gun would help depending on how the dash cap was installed. There would be installation instructions on the package. The dash cover should fit snugly over the entire dash. Practice putting it in place for later when you'll do this with silicone on the cover. Clean the underside of your dash cover. Align and secure it with tape, weights, and wedges (placed between your windshield and dash cover). Apply the silicone provided in your kit to the underside of the dash cover.

My dash had several cracks, one from the windshield almost to steering wheel, and several others around the passenger air bag area. Those cracks rattled but wasn't to the point of falling down, if yours is about to fall, I would tape them, only a little with strong duct tape first. If you press down too much, you will break them out for sure. First, make sure the color you are ordering is right, several are close, and I almost ordered the wrong one. When mine came it was a perfect color match, and I just laid it on top of my dash and it laid in place like a glove. I actually drove it around just like that for several days to relax and get a little sun before doing anything. Mine didn't come with any silicone, but I have a buddy at a body shop that he thought professional two sided tape would be better and offered to put it in place, and he did use a heat gun for two small dimples around edge, which worked. I didn't know about using wedges or weights but I did place several heavy catalogs on it along the windshield for several days. My buddy only charged me $10.00 for the tape, but would have been happy to pay for his time, I knew then it was secured right. I'm happy with my dash cover, even my mechanic didn't notice it until I told him, so it looks good. Hope this helps!

Hi Brian, Yes, this would come with a silicone glue as standard mounting hardware for it to be attached to the top portion of your old dashboard.

No, no glue. I just ran down to my local parts store and picked some up. Install is easy. Just make sure you get the adhesive all of the way to the edges. I was a little worried about it oosing out. Had to go back and do those spots again.

It was supposed to but it wasn’t in mine. They did however they did reimburse me for the glue!
