I’m Mixed about this review because, when i installed this ballast, i was installing on brand new housings (also from carparts) and it was so plug and play, i got the whole job done in an afternoon as a novice. bulbs were bright and shiny and i was proud that everything worked. until today. exactly 1 year after i ordered the ballast, it stops working. i was baffled! i was so sure it would last as long as i have the car, but suspiciously it stopped working after 1 year. i’m bummed now cuz this part is more expensive now and i have no idea if i had a warranty on the original part. i would love for someone at carparts to reach out to me. please be wary of buying this part, because unfortunately i have to do this entire replacement all over again just after 1 year…
ps my car is a 2003 and the other ballast has been there since the car was made and still runs great…
