Bumper came folded, which was not mentioned when I bought the bumper. Probably spent over an hour on consecutive days and leaving in the hoot sun. Still has noticeable bumps in areas the were crimped the most. The bumper was primed. Several areas the primer required extensive sanding. All this extra prep. work I would have avoided if given the choice of paying extra for shipping and the prime job had to be redone, so it wasn't paint ready.

Our bumper covers come folded, as the majority of unpainted aftermarket bumper covers do. We do this to help our customers save on shipping costs, and take extra precautions to ensure that the fit, quality, and integrity of our bumper covers are not compromised in the process.
If you are unable to place the bumper cover out in the sun, apply heat on the “creased” area(s) with a heat gun or hair dryer. Be careful not to apply too much heat, as this could distort or melt the material.
Any minor imperfections should be sufficiently concealed once you proceed with painting and installing your bumper cover.

Answered by Arnel E. / Tue, Jul 05No, also use a pre-prime cleaner, even though this bumper is primed, I had residue on the surface that messed up my paint job. Was probably on the surface before it was primed.
