Question: I have a 2006 X3 BMW. I took my car in for other work and when I get it back I can’t control windows or mirrors. They told me it was the switch and to order a new one but why would that happen? Is it just a coincidence or do you think they left the door open when raining? Answered by Jeonino E. / Mon, Oct 11Yes check fuse/relay. if they are good get an electric meter and check for power at switch. If no power you have a broken wire. If you have power at the switch you have a bad switch. Don't just throw parts at it check for power at switch.
