Noted- plastic grip handle and plastic base attachment to door show variances between 1 to 4 cm in production assembly. Noticeable from GM OEM door handle that was compared before and after removal. Door handles work great, just wish GM made them out of metal and chrome.

Then, insert the new rod into the appropriate holes on the handle and the latch mechanism, making sure it is securely attached with any clips or screws provided.
