I mounted this bracket that was not previously installed on a 2018 Cadillac XT5. The used car came from a state that did not require a front plate. The dealer, had it been sold in my state would have installed the bracket on the car just below the grill. I found a YouTube hack where people looking to install the new bracket on the lower vent area using a toggle bolt and a large fender washer. The difference is I didn’t drill 2 holes in my front panel, and the bracket that I bought fit perfectly dead center below the panel where the dealer would have put it. Check out YouTube videos! This is great product with the perfect angle for my grill. Very happy.
