I found the bumper I needed through Carparts Ordered it and it came in a timely fashion. Unfortunately during shipping it was damaged. I filled out their return form online and also called. I was helped right away and was able to resolve the situation and received the replacement bumper right away. Car parts made it right! Thank you.

A really piece of junk it looks like it was made by hand with a chizes edges have a rough finish and missing areas of the edges, unnecessary holes on top of the bumper instead of smooth finish i will not recommend to anyone

This bumper wasnt a good deal if it was a 10th of the cost, the chrome is yellow, the finish looks like it was done with a grinder, holes were punched in the wrong palces and it had holes in it that didnt even need to be there! the old bent up bumper had a better finish.
Time to find a different distributor, china just doesnt get it on these!
Thanks for taking it back and paying the freight, that made it a little more tolerable. The cost of shipping back would have been too much to pay for this junk.

Question: I purchased this bumper in 2013. It has started showing small pits of rust. Is this a known issue for this particular bumper and brand.? Was there a recall? Hi Larry, I'm glad to assist you. The step bumper has a 1-year warranty only. It is a good thing it lasted until now. We do not carry the direct-fit chrome step bumper matching your 1973 GMC pickup, 6-cylinder engine.
