Admittedly, I was a bit reluctant to order this part. Ever since I bought this (used) vehicle from a friend back in 2014, the rear lift gate hydraulics were rusting. Fast forward all these years and the lift gate hydraulics were no longer operating, and the hatch was falling down on my head. So I decided to try and replace them myself. IT WAS SO SIMPLE!! Thanks to this website for making it so easy to find a part, now it’s like having a new car again.

Sorry BUT the part I ordered was wrong ... NOT MY MISTAKE!!!!!!! BUT I had to return part for the right part. Had to PAY EXTRA for shipping... now had to wait for right part . This is now 3 1/2 weeks later..!!! NOW have to pray I get my refund back.....! Let’s see how that turns OUT!!! Then ask me about my EXPERIENCE that I have gone through...!!!! P.S. not good for first time buyer... it’s started out simple! Rear lift ( power) support for a Chevy equinox (2015) ... the moneys lost for this saving is all on shipping... what a waste!
TIME AND MONEY.. very disappointed ☹️

they worked out just fine. some people could probably use an instruction sheet to explain how the retaining clips need to be released in order to remove the old and install the new. I was familiar with them because I have done them in the past but 1st time users may need a little hint.
