Works Great !Blower Motor Resistor
5.0/5
I replaced the blower motor and was found out it is highly advised to replace the resistor when you replace the blower motor, so I did. It fit my 2005 Honda Accord LX which is always my biggest concern when buying car parts online. I received it and it is as advertised and does fit! It was just a royal pain to remove the existing one and install the new one because there’s a piece of plastic sticking-out a couple inches in front of it which is perfectly positioned to prevent you from getting to the screws directly and easily with a screwdriver. But, after fighting with it and a lot of swearing, I was able to succeed. Sometimes I think Honda does that on purpose just to make it a pain it to do it yourself. Anyway, great buying experience and high quality parts! Will definitely consider buying my next part here!

Question: what is automatic temperature control?Sheldon L. / Dec 30, 2022 / 2013 Chevrolet ImpalaBlower Motor Resistor, With Climate Control
Hi Sheldon, I'm pleased to assist you. It is an automatic climate control system, which automatically controls interior temperature based on the driver's demands and temperature information from various sources. A manual air conditioning system, on the other hand, remains on at the cooling and blower settings you choose and continues to blow at that rate until you change it lower or higher. Question: Blower motor and resisting pack was replaced why is still burnout . what causes it wires to burn?Noot, Knewt / Sep 22, 2020 / 2013 Chevrolet ImpalaBlower Motor Resistor, With Climate Control
Hi Darryl, We highly recommend having the vehicle diagnosed by a certified mechanic to determine what is causing the wires to burn and what part/s needs replacement.

Something might have rubbed the insulation off the wire and it's going to ground, that would be my guess or the wires might have a short in it. One of the connectors might be melted and 2 wires touching, just check the wiring. Hope this helps
