Headlight condensation can be a normal condition with vehicle headlights. Headlights are vented with either a hose or a opening covered by a fine mesh. This allows for the headlight to perform in a variety of conditions without permanently fogging up. Condensation in the headlight most often occurs with rapid temperature change, high humidity, or long periods of non use of the headlight. Condensation should clear up with use and when temperatures stabilize. However, if condensation is to the point where it is collecting as liquid at the bottom of the headlight then there an issue that needs to be resolved. Make sure the headlight is sealed properly, the use of aftermarket LED or HID kits will cause sealing issues where the bulbs mount, and it also needs to be checked that any vent or ventilation hose is properly mounted and not blocked or removed.In this specific headlight (20-5772-00) there are holes with a fine mesh over them to allow ventilation, if they are damaged, blocked, or non existent (manufacturing error) then the headlight may need replacement.
