I had no problems with the product. The shipping is a problem and two tailgates arrive dented. The box does not have enough protection no Styrofoam in the corners to keep it from getting dented.

Yes, it's black, but it's not "paint". You will still need to sand down the finish, prime and paint. The finish on it is merely an anti-rust coating.

Yes, the tail gate arrived in a black primer finish. I had mine painted by a local collision shop and the tail gate looked factory brand new.
