Not really sure what I expected from this dash cover but I am amazed! I followed the directions, which were simple, and could not be happier! You will need more RTV than comes with the cover, though. Shipping was about a whole week quicker than was originally stated as well... Best 150.00 I've spent on my old beater!

Super easy to install, but you definitely need more adhesive caulk than the tiny tube that comes with it! I went to my local box store and got a tube of regular silicon caulk and used every bit...

Hi Shelia, I'm pleased to assist you. Yes, this dash cap must be put on top of the original dash. It will not replace the original dash. It will need to be glued to the vent areas and edges of the old dash to cover cracks and other damages.
