Question: I have a 2012 Silverado LT. Ho do I know if it has a heated mirror or not?Mark M. / Jan 22, 2021 / 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500Driver Side Mirror Glass, Non- Heated, Non-Towing, No Turn Signal Light, Blind Spot Detection, With Backing Plate
Hi Mark, I would recommend contacting your local dealership with your VIN number to be sure about the options of the mirror your vehicle came with.

If you pull out the old glass it will have two tabs that connect to wires in the frame

If you have taken the old mirror off, you can tell by the wiring and heat strips on the back of the mirror inside the holder. It is easy to remove the mirror if you are very careful. There is a youtube video on how to replace the mirror...

Look close at mirror, you'll see a spot about 1" square, also turn on rear window defroster, mirror will be warm if heated
