i am very dissapointed with my purchase it flew apart and smashed my windshield and it was glued togeather and it should have been welded i want a refund and my windshield replaced

The hood itself was great and fit perfectly. But it wasn’t until I was going to get it painted,the body shop noticed 2 slight bends/dents on the sides. At first inspection by myself,the delivery driver and the shop,it was unnoticeable due to the rubber protection used for shipping. It was due to the fact the delivery driver strapped it to the side of the truck. Virtually unnoticeable unless it’s pointed out. Great hood,but really check it throughly when you receive it.

This has the same width as the OE interchange 88944302 of 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 without body cladding, while the shipping dimension of this is 74inches in length x 57 inches in width x 10 inches in height.

Body Cladding on the Avalanche models are the gray trims/moldings on the bottom half of the vehicle, from front to rear.
