My 2008 Silverado LT factory mirrors did not have puddle lights. However, these aftermarket mirrors w/puddle lights plugged right in to the factory wiring harness and the puddle lights worked with no alterations. Everything worked. It was plug and play for me.

Once you get the old mirror off and ready to install the new one the connections are easy, just plug them in. My 2009 did not have puddle lights but connections were there and they work fine.

My 17 year old installed them. Pretty easy. Plug and play. His 07 did not have puddle lights factory. Still plugged in fine. Puddle lights just do not operate. Everything else does.

It was for my 09 sierra 1500. My old lights didn’t have the puddle light but I plugged it in and they work now.

They were correct on my 2007 LTZ Silverado I've had them on for a year now and they work great they even have courtesy lights on the bottom of the mirror that I didn't have before
